MphRx-Connect has been awarded the "Most useful enterprise application" in BlackBerry Developers Challenge, 2011. BlackBerry Developers Challenge is for developers of BlackBerry smartphone and Blackberry PlayBook tablet applications. The MphRx team was awarded this prestigious award in the RIM DevCon Asia on Dec-7 in Singapore. The application helps a physician treat more patients and save lives even when he/she is on the move.
The MphRx solution securely connects an archive of medical scan images, lab reports and patient information in its cloud with Blackberry smartphones that clinicians can access wherever they are. MphRx uses proprietary transfer protocols to ensure a physician can access patient data quickly even over slow 2G mobile networks.
Chetan Uberoy, CTO of MphRx said, "We are honoured and very excited to receive this recognition. It is an important milestone in MphRx's quest for Saving Lives through Technology, and encourages us to stay firmly on the path of leveraging mobile and cloud technologies to improve quality and delivery of healthcare across the globe."
