Sameer Grover, Head of Product Management, demonstrated at Health 2.0 India how MphRx mobile health solutions are helping healthcare organizations around the world to improve patient care and enhance physician productivity.
MphRx-Connect has been awarded the "Most useful enterprise application" in BlackBerry Developers Challenge, 2011. BlackBerry Developers Challenge is for developers of BlackBerry smartphone and Blackberry PlayBook tablet applications. The MphRx team was awarded this prestigious award in the RIM DevCon Asia on Dec-7 in Singapore. The application helps a physician treat more patients and save lives even when he/she is on the move. The MphRx solution securely connects an archive of medical scan images, lab reports and patient information in its cloud with Blackberry smartphones that clinicians can access wherever they are. MphRx uses proprietary transfer protocols to ensure a physician can access patient data quickly even over slow 2G mobile networks. MphRx-Connect is a sharing and collaboration platform offered by MphRx for physicians to access complete diagnostics for their patients through cloud and any mobile device. Physicians and patients can search, access and share radiological images, cardiology videos, retina images, lab results and more, through MphRx-Connect on their laptops, smartphones and tablets. MphRx leading the mHealth initiative in India, takes remote diagnostics access to a new level with the introduction of its application for Blackberry Playbook. This application allows physicians to get immediate access anytime, anywhere to diagnostic images and reports of the patient. It creates a portable point of access for the physician to monitor a patient’s progress virtually that translates into better treatment decisions and patient care. On the occasion of 7th Annual International Telemedicine Congress 2011, MphRx participated with a booth in the exhibition. The venue was Hotel Westin, Mumbai. Telemedicon'11 was a three day conference held on 11th November -13th November. Telemedicon featured healthcare leaders from all over the world, in the field of Telehealth & mHealth. The 7th Annual Congress was a mega international event with the theme, “Telehealth 2.0- Taking beyond the Pilot Phase”, with a focus on “Leveraging Technology for Chronic Disease Management”. Delegates from over over 32 countries; including the American Telemedicine Association, ISFTEH, Care Continuum Alliance, Disease Management Association of India, etc attended the conference. Our team demonstrated the workflow of sharing diagnostic images via MphRx cloud in real time to physicians and radiologist using MphRx on smartphone devices and tablets like iPhone, iPad, Android, Playbook and blackberry. Live demo for the same were given to each visiting delegate at the booth. MphRx as a participant at Telemedicon'11 were also invited to be speakers at the conference. Mr. Mahesh Uberoi, MphRx, President graced the stage under the Continua panel sharing his thoughts about Profitable Tele-health Solutions. Mr. Sameer Grover, Product Head, addressed the delegates about m-Health and Physician Productivity. Telemedicon'11 gave MphRx the opportunity to share a common platform with hon'ble guests like Aneesh Chopra (CTO, USA) and Mr. Sachin Pilot (Minister of IT, Govt. of India) who really appreciated MphRx products. Over all the conference was a great successful event for MphRx.
